WHOLE HOUSE WATER FILTER - SEDIMENT ONLY

This sediment prefilter housing and cartridge is designed for 1″ main water lines, with 15 gpm peak recommended flow. The replaceable pleated cartridge removes sediment, silt, sand, dirt and cysts down to 1 micron (lasts about 6 months). Housing accepts any industry-standard 9 3/4″ long by 4 1/2″ diameter cartridges. Inlet and outlet are 1″ female pipe threads.

The Melt blown micro-fiber is self-bonded and formed a 3D pore structure. Diameter and density of micro-fiber can be varying from inner to outer of the filter diameter. Melt Blown Depth water filter Cartridges is designed to have continuously graded pore structure provide both pre-filtration and final-filtration.

      Quarter-turn valves

      The rugged, one-piece, forged Power ball valve, is built to take the toughest steam isolation applications in your plant – vent, drain, blowoff, intermittent blowdown – with the performance and reliability that you have come to expect from Velan.

      • In reduced port ball valves, flow through the valve is one pipe size smaller than the valve’s pipe size resulting in flow area becoming lesser than pipe. But the flow discharge remains constant as it is a Multipler factor of Flow discharge(Q) is equal to Area of Flow (A) into Velocity (V). A1V1=A2V2 i.e the Velocity increase with reduced Area of flow and Velocity decreases with increased area of flow. Bibcocks
      • A V port ball valve has either a ‘v’ shaped ball or a ‘v’ shaped seat. This allows the orifice to be opened and closed in a more controlled manner with a closer to linear flow characteristic. When the valve is in the closed position and opening is commenced the small end of the ‘v’ is opened first allowing stable flow control during this stage. This type of design requires a generally more robust construction due to higher velocities of the fluids, which would quickly damage a standard valve.
      • A trunnion ball valve has a mechanical means of anchoring the ball at the top and the bottom, this design is usually applied on larger and higher pressure valves (say, 4″ and above 600 psi and above).

      Pressure Reducing Angle Valve made of cast brass can be adjusted to restrict pressures up to 175lbs. Locking pin device restricts full opening of valve by untrained personnel. Pin may be removed by fire personnel to allow full open valve.

      Gate Valve made of cast brass for use on standpipes, fire pumps or hydrants. Has a straightway pattern, non rising stem and is rated at 300lbs.
