ear the main shutoff valve for water to my house is a 150 PSI
pressure release valve. I'm told this is "standard". Yet, I'm also told anything over 70 PSI will damage fixtures inside house. Why wouldn't I want a 75 or 100 PSI pressure relief valve, rather than 150? My normal water pressure is 50 PSI, but can spike from back pressure (washing machine, etc.)
